We belong to no one in particular

Not members of a specific kin, special days spent in Chinese restaurants with others of the same situation

Words go unspoken, unread, unnoticed while feelings fizzle; traditions forgotten with no home to hold them

Seeking approval despite feigned independence - playing parent, sibling, friend, lover

At least we have each other
